posted in: Uncategorized | 0

The iFermenter team has discussed the results of the project with several scientists in federal universities of Sao Carlos and in Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) during Desember 2019 and January 2020. The purpose of the discussions were to explore a collaboration between iFermenter teams, Brazilian biotechnologists and Brazilian Chemical engineers that are expert in alternative feedstocks. The meeting resulted in exchange of scientists between Bar’s microbial feedback control laboratory and UFRJ scientists and students. Currently, our group hosts 3 students during 2020.

We will explore further collaboration with other residual biomass streams such as the Brazilian molasses.
