The iFermenter teams have filed a patent application, C. glutamicum as a platform that produces antimicrobials. The patent application number 2105707.0 was filed 21 April 2021, comprising the main work of iFermenter: to convert residual sugars into high value antimicrobial peptides.
We are proud on this achievement, which will promote circular economy, and sustainable production of antimicrobials. The iFermenter teams will continue to work towards new science and innovations.
