Our partners at the BBEPP, together with other partners in the iFermenter team have ran upscaling experiments. The antimicrobial production was tested and upscaled from mL scales to laboratory 2-3L scales, and then to 150 L steel container scale in industrial conditions. The antimicrobial was produced from C. glutamicum using residual sugar from Boregaard.
