With sorrow and pain I announce the departure of Professor Dzũng “Johnny Depp” Diệp. He was an great colleague and my personal friend since 2015. His death came too sudden.
He was kind to everyone, and was liked by everyone.
Dzung and I could talk about anything: from bacteriocins and bicrobes to Pho, Vietnamese soups, travels, life, about who we are and why we are here, and much more.
I will miss his amazing positive attitude, his smile and courage.
